The Sustainable Innovation Group

WHO WE ARE
The Sustainable Innovation Group is a University of Toronto Campus Group founded by our Co-Presidents Khushi Mansukhani and Rohan Chadha. At SIG we place a distinct focus on sustainability, social entrepreneurship, and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) awareness within our communities. We have three principles which help guide us towards our goals:
1. To strive for the highest levels of ethical citizenship,
2. Maintaining uncompromising integrity in our club workings, and finally,
3. Promoting a sustainable lifestyle within our communities.
We believe that students of today will embrace sustainability to become the responsible leaders of tomorrow. This motivates SIG to achieve our vision of becoming UofT’s most influential sustainability-focused group and provide students with the right resources and opportunities for careers in sustainability-related fields.
WHAT WE DO
At SIG, we strive to provide resources and opportunities for not only careers in sustainability-related fields, but also creating a more sustainable future for ourselves. We host events on topics such as Socially Responsible Investing SRI, Ethical Policies and CSR Initiatives. We have many initiatives happening such as our UofT Campus Farm initiative or Careers in Sustainability showcase meaning there’s a multitude of opportunities to get involved! For those looking to advance in a career in sustainability or get involved, many relevant articles, job postings, competitions and events can be found in our Linktree located in our Instagram bio @sig.uoft.
